President Viktor Yanukovych believes that it is necessary to attract the European side in modernization of the Ukrainian gas transport system, he told a press conference today.
He stressed that Ukraine should ensure uninterrupted supply of gas to Europe, that is why in the near future Ukraine should decide how to modernize its gas transportation system.
"I am sure that Europe's participation will be required," Yanukovych said.
