As of January 2, 2013, 7848 local budgets of different levels are approved, the Finance Ministry press service informs. 

685 local budgets out of 692 local budgets, which have direct interbudget relations with the state budget and a deadline for the approval of which is December 31, 2012, are approved, including:

- The republican budget of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, all the regional budgets (except for the Ternopil regional budget) and the budget of the city of Sevastopil;
- 176 (99.4%) budgets of urban cities of (republican) regional importance;
- 484 (99.2%) regional budgets.

As of January 2, 2013, seven such budgets are not approved, including two budgets in Ivano-Frankivsk region, three - in Lviv region, the regional budget of Ternopil region and the budget of city of Ternopil, which is a violation of the Budget Code of Ukraine.

According to the relevant schedules of approval, the majority of these budgets is to be approved before January 12, 2013.

As of January 2, the budgets of all levels in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya, Kyiv, Poltava regions and the city of Sevastopil are approved.
In addition, 7163 budgets of the local government, representing 62.9% of total, have been approved today.

The greatest number of budgets is approved in Sumy region (99.8%) and Kherson region (94.6%). Just 0.4% of budgets are approved in Lviv region, 4.6% - in Ternopil region, 19.6% - in Ivano-Frankivsk region.
