“Carla” vessel under the flag of Antigua (Caribbean islands) has been
detained in Georgian territorial waters for violation of shipping rules, border
department of Georgia reported.
“The captain of the ship is a Ukrainian citizen. There is also another Ukrainian among the crew,” a department’s official told.
Legal proceeding will take place within two days in the Poti city. The owner of the ship faces heavy fine.
