General Assembly of the United Nations Organization left methodology of scale calculations of States’ contributions in regular budget of the Nations Organization unchanged.
According to news service of the UNO, General Assembly approved scale calculations of States’ contributions in regular budget of the UNO for 2007-2009.
Principle of paying capacity of States is the ground of scale calculations. Rates of gross output for several years are taking into consideration.
If the economy of a State is developing successfully, the amount of its contribution in the budget of the UNO increases also.
Share for Russia remained almost unchanged. It will comprise 1.200per cent of the regular budget of the UNO. In 2006 Russia paid 1.100 per cent.
Contribution for Belarus increased slightly from 0.018 to 0.020 %. For Ukraine it increased from 0.039% to 0.045%.
