“Commandant Duquent” the ship of France Naval Forces has anchored today in Sevastopol port.
The ship command is to meet acting as Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Fleet Rear-Admiral Victor Maksimov and the Chairman of Sevastopol City State Administration Sergey Ivanov within a framework of the protocol.
French delegation and Ukrainian high military officials are to visit French memorial cemetery and to pay military honors to French soldiers lost in Crimean War 1854-1855.
French and Ukrainian military men will take part in sport competitions. Ukraine will be represented by Nakhimov’s Institute cadets. After the competitions high French guests will go sightseeing in Sevastopol.
The visit of French military delegation will last till October 29.
