Since February 2 the laws passed by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on January 16, 2014 have lost their force, and the previous edition of the provisions of codes and laws that were previously amended have been restored, the press service of the Justice Ministry reports.

The Ministry reminded that 16 January 2014 the Parliament passed the following Laws of Ukraine: “On Amendments to the Laws of Procedure regarding Additional Measures to Protect the Security of Citizens”; “On Amendments to Several Legislative Acts of Ukraine regarding the Responsibility for Administrative Violations During Football Matches”; “On Amendments to Several Legislative Acts of Ukraine regarding the Responsibility for Administrative Violations in the Sphere of Road Safety Recorded Automatically”; “On Amendments to the Rules of Procedure of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine”; “On Amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine regarding Criminal Proceedings in Absentia”; “On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On Free Legal Assistance” regarding the Postponement of Enactment of the Provisions of Clause 6 of Chapter VI “Final and Transitional Provisions"; “On Amendments to Article 197 of the Tax Code of Ukraine regarding VAT Exemption of Importing Natural Gas into the Customs Territory of Ukraine”; "On Amendments to Article 297 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine regarding the Responsibility for Desecration or Destruction of Monuments Erected in Commemoration of Those Who Fought Against Nazism During the Great Patriotic War – the Soviet Military Men-Liberators, Participants of the Partisan Movement, Undergrounders, Victims of Nazi Persecutions, Soldiers-Internationalists and Peacekeepers"; "On Amendments to the Criminal Code of Ukraine regarding the Responsibility for Denial or Excuse of Fascist Crimes".
