Acting Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Arbuzov took local budgets’ adoption under personal control.

"The government is working to reduce the negative impact of the political situation on the economic processes in Ukraine. Unfortunately, it’s impossible to completely avoid this influence," he said, opening the Cabinet’s meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.

"Not all of the regional administration have been vacated for normal functioning of the executive power. The process continues. Many regions have not taken local budgets. Throughout the country, more than 40 local budgets are approved. However, in many regions, level of their adoption is within the ranges of 2-10 %," stressed Arbuzov.

He noted that among the laggards are "regions overwhelmed with mood of protest, namely Lviv, Ternopil, Ivano- Frankivsk and Khmelnytsky regions".

"To solve this problem, administrative buildings should be vacated, then the authorities will properly perform their functions. I instruct finance minister Yuri Kolobov to facilitate the swift adoption of the budget. I take these processes under my personal control," he concluded.
