Chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration Volodymyr Makeyenko promised not to raise public transport fares in the capital, he told a briefing in the Kyiv City Council, ForUm correspondent reports.

Makeyenko stressed that this issue was withdrawn.

According to him, today the City Council adopted the budget with revenues of 20 billion UAH, and the same amount of money is in the shadow economy.

"We will eliminate the share of the shadow economy of the capital budget. I appealed to businessmen asking not to invest in bribes but in the budget," the KCSA head said.
