Today, February 3, the National Bank of Ukraine issued two commemorative coins "XXI Olympic Winter Games" with nominal value of 10 UAH and 2 UAH, deputy NBU governor Vira Rychakovska said during presentation of coins, ForUm correspondent reports.
"We issue two new commemorative coins, devoted to XXI Olympic Winter Games," she said, noting that these coins continue the sport series.
"These commemorative coins were made colored with the use of innovative technologies. The obverse has a blue-yellow background, and a stylized image of the mountains. The reverse depicts a biathlon athlete in the foreground and other winter sports athletes in a circle," Rychakovska explained. She also noted that the commemorative coins can be purchased in the NBU offices.
