Head of the Party of Regions faction in Parliament Oleksandr Yefremov does not support the idea of federalization of Ukraine, he told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"This is not a position of the faction, we did not discuss this issue, and the decision was not taken," he said.
"When the western regions decide not to follow the laws and regulations of the current government, then other regions have an opposite reaction," the deputy said.
In addition, Yefremov does not understand why the statements of MPs in the Western Ukraine are perceived calmly, while the statements of deputies from the Eastern Ukraine are immediately analyzed on their legality.
