MPs from the opposition, who take part in the protest actions, must prove that they do not fight for positions and make appropriate public statements, MP from the Party of Regions Volodymyr Makeyenko told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
"The next elections will be held in a year. It will be presidential elections and, unfortunately, the approach of this date intensified aspirations of some politicians to take this place, even sometimes not by constitutional means," he said.
According to Makeyenko, the opposition needs, calling people to something, immediately say that they are not running for new positions and will remain deputies. "And I am sure that the situation in the country would be calmer," the MP stressed.
