Due to comprehensive review and statement of all components for regional socioeconomic development in the investment passports, it will be easier for investors to analyze the regional potential parameters, the Information-Analytical Bulletin of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine informs.
The priority sectors for investment, as well as national and regional strategic facilities in each region are included in 26 investment passports of the Ukrainian regions. Along with all regional and city state administrations, this analytical effort was made by the State Agency for Investment and National Projects.
These documents summarize the comprehensive data on investment opportunities of the regions, their economic, cultural, and social potential. Experts believe that, in this way, the most relevant and professionally presented data (answering all questions of businessmen interested to work in the region) will be concentrated in investors hands.
"We provided characteristics of economic potential, socio-cultural sphere, and a section with proposals for investors, which identifies the priority sectors for investment and describes national and regional strategic projects being implemented in each region," said Vasily Fedyuk, Director of Investment Policy and Regional Development Department at State Investment Projects.
