Celebration of 200th anniversary of Taras Shevchenko's birth to cost 57 million UAH

The Kyiv City State Administration will allocate 57 million hryvnias for preparation of celebration of the 200th anniversary of Taras Shevchenko's birth, acting chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration Anatoly Holubchenko said at the extended staff meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.

"The total amount is about 57 million UAH, it should be allocated before March," he said. 

According to Holubchenko, reconstruction of the National Museum will be completed in February. In addition, the KCSA plans repair of fences in the Shevchenko Boulevard.
