Pechersk District Court in Kyiv closed the criminal proceedings against lawyer of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko Serhiy Vlasenko , who was accused of beating of his ex-wife Natalia Okunska as time limitations for bringing him to justice expired. This is stated in the judgment.
"The Court concluded to release Serhiy Vlasenko from criminal prosecution for an offense under Part 1 of Art. 125, Part 2 of Art.125, and Part 1 of Art. 125 in connection with expiration of time limitations. Criminal proceedings are closed," the judgment says.
