Acting chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration Anatoliy Holubchenko will offer Kyiv Zoo director Yevheniy Kyryliuk to leave his post voluntarily, he said during a meeting at the zoo, ForUm correspondent reports.

"My main claim to the director is that he was not able to use the funds allocated for the development program, which affected the work of the zoo," Holubchenko said.

According to him, 16 million UAH were allocated on development of the utility last year. These funds were intended for landscaping, renovation and construction of cages.

Acting chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration stressed that he will take the final personnel decision after the financial and trade audits.

"In any case, I will offer the Kyiv Zoo director to leave his post voluntarily," Holubchenko said.
