The Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare of Russia (Rospotrebnadzor) does not rule out that this year confectionery products of Ukrainian corporation Roshen may return to the Russian market.

"But all violations must be fixed first," a Service representative says, according to "Interfax".

Acting head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova told journalists at the end of December that expert consultations on resuming of supplies were held regularly.

As reported, Rospotrebnadzor banned import of Roshen sweets to the Russian market due to violations of the quality standard. In turn, Ukraine agreed to carry out inspections and provided all necessary documentation to resume supplies.

Earlier it was planned to resume supplies of Ukrainian confectionery to the Russian market before December 1 of past year.
