The National Bank of Ukraine has received the first tranche of the Russian loan in the amount of USD 3 bln through the purchase of external government borrowing by Russia. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov announced during a meeting with the Head of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, the Cabinet’s press office reports.
“Today our National Bank has received the first tranche to its account. It is a stabilizing factor for us. Due to the reached understandings our ranking has improved,” the Head of Government said.
Mykola Azarov thanked to the President and the Government of the Russian Federation for the decision to issue a loan to our country.
