Russia would like to see Ukraine the participant in Eurasian integration processes, foreign minister of the Russian federation Sergei Lavrov stated.
"Eurasian integration structures are open to other partners in the CIS. Of course, we are interested to see Ukraine the participant in these processes, providing it is the choice of the Ukrainian people. Results of the Russian-Ukrainian Interstate Commission meeting on December 17 made clear demonstration of the mutual disposition to work constructively," Lavrov said.
"A major contribution to the strengthening of regional and international stability became integration efforts of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan within the framework of the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space," the minister added.
