Deputy chairman of the numismatics and marketing department of the National bank of Ukraine Viktoria Suzanska informs that NBY has issued 42 commemorative coins in 2013, ForUm's correspondent reports.
According to the press office of the bank, as of December 20 NBU put into circulation 40 types (35 names) of commemorative coins of total run of more that 650 thousand pieces. For 11 months NBU sold almost 668 thousand commemorative coins at the total sum of about 70 million hryvnias.
Next year NBU plans on issuing 41 types (32 names) of commemorative coins of total run of about 630 thousand pieces.
