Russian gas price may fluctuate and reach even $ 230 per thousand cubic meters, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych said in interview with representatives of Ukrainian media.
"With regard to price stability, it depends entirely on price for petroleum products. And if the price for Brent oil, for example, drops to $ 80, the gas price will be somewhere $ 230. Therefore, this price can not be constant. And we agreed that we will review the price each quarter," he said.
According to him, the price can change – go up or down. The Head of State noted that there may be seasonal variations too.
"As it was before. The highest price reached about 510 dollars per thousand cubic meters," the President noted.
