Fourteen documents signed within Ukrainian-Russian talks

A number of documents was signed following the meeting of the Ukrainian-Russian interstate commission, the press service of the Head of State informs.

In particular, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and President of Russia Vladimir Putin have signed the Plan of Ukrainian-Russian Measures on Joint Celebration of the 200th Anniversary of T.H. Shevchenko's Birthday in 2014. The Plan provides for the joint scientific-educational and cultural-historical measures dedicated to the 200th anniversary of T. Shevchenko's birthday. Also, the Protocol of the 6th Session of Ukrainian-Russian Interstate Commission has been signed in the presence of the Heads of State.

In addition, several documents have been signed in the presence of the two Presidents.

Under the Protocol between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Russian Federation on the Supply of Goods under Industrial Cooperation in 2014 and within the industrial cooperation, business entities supply raw materials, materials, units, components and services technically interrelated and necessary for joint production of the final product that are not produced in Ukraine and Russia or produced in the quantity that does not meet the needs of the domestic market. The goods (services) supplied under the industrial cooperation and included to the Protocol are not subject to value added tax and excise duties.

Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Russian Federation on Joint Actions on the Organization of the Construction of Transport Crossing Through the Kerch Strait determines the main preparatory aspects of the joint actions on the construction of transport crossing through the Kerch Strait and provides for the establishment of respective Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Russian working group, its authorities and stages of the implementation of the given project.

Plan of Actions on the Settlement of Trade Restrictions in Bilateral Trade between Ukraine and the Russian Federation for 2013-2014 reflects the arrangements on holding respective measures in 2013-2014 in order to liberalize access of goods to the mutual markets.

Intergovernmental Protocol on the Determination of Ukrainian-Russian Border Crossing Point "Kuybyshevo" for the Joint Control of the Supervisory Authorities of the Parties provides for the joint control by the supervisory authorities of Ukraine and Russian Federation at the given border crossing point.

Agreement between the State Service of Ukraine on Drugs Control and Federal Drug Control Service of the Russian Federation on Cooperation in Combating Illicit Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and their Precursors is aimed at the intensification of bilateral cooperation at the interagency level in the sphere of illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs.

Interagency Agreement on Early Notification of a Nuclear Accident and Exchange of Information in the Sphere of Nuclear and Radiation Safety defines the terms of cooperation of the Parties in case of a nuclear accident related to the installation or activity referred to in Articles 1 and 3 of the Convention on Early Notification of a Nuclear Accident of 26 September 1986, as well as the exchange of information on nuclear and radiation safety.

In addition, The Plan of Joint Actions of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters on the Implementation of the Intergovernmental Agreement on Cooperation in the Prevention of Industrial Accidents, Natural Disasters and the Elimination of their Consequences for 2013-2015 approves the list of joint measures within the Agreement on Cooperation in the Sphere of the Prevention of Industrial Accidents, Natural Disasters and the Elimination of their Consequences for 2013-2015.

Memorandum of Intent on Intensification of Cooperation in the Sphere of Shipbuilding between the Ministry of Agricultural Policy of Ukraine and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation defines the top-priority directions of cooperation in the sphere of shipbuilding. Particularly, it is the formation of unified scientific-technical and technological approaches and the development of scientific ties, equipment and components under the requirements of the modern standards.

Intergovernmental Protocol on Amendments to the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Russian Federation on Cooperation in the Joint Control over Persons, Transport Vehicles and Goods at Ukrainian-Russian Border Crossing Point of October 18, 2011 amends article 3 of the given Agreement.  

Intergovernmental Agreement on the Implementation of Measures of State Support to the Restoration of Serial Production of Airplanes An-124 with Engines D-18T and their Modifications reflects the main arrangements in the sphere of development, restoration of serial production, supply and maintenance of the airplanes An-124 with engines D-18T and their modifications including service maintenance, repair, modernization, supervision and prolongation of service life of the given planes.

In addition, the Memorandum of Understanding between the State Space Agency of Ukraine and Federal Space Agency of the Russian Federation on Cooperation in the Sphere of Rocket-Space Industry was signed.
