The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will do everything to ensure timely adoption of the state budget for 2014 budget, leader of the Party of Regions faction Oleksandr Yefremov said on Parliament’s sidelines, ForUm correspondent reports.
"I would like the Parliament to start working as soon as possible, to enter the New Year with a normal situation in the country, but we have not seen the budget yet. In order to balance the budget, we need to get a lot of answers: what will be the Russian gas price, what will be the further contacts with the EU in economic terms. Then the decision will be made," he said.
Yefremov reminded that the President instructed to prepare the draft budget till December 17. "The government is working in this direction. If it submits the draft budget timely, we will have a document, which we could consider," the MP summed up.
