Desire of Ukrainians to move towards the European Union may influence the signing of the Association Agreement with the EU in the future, Polish political expert Andriy Sheptytsky said during an online marathon "What awaits Ukraine? Analysis of current events" in the online studio "Inpress-club", ForUm correspondent reports.
"I think the signing of the Association is still possible. But it is necessary to take into account internal circumstances. 2014 is a year before the elections in Ukraine, which complicates a bit political process," he said.
According to Sheptytsky, if Yanukovych remains President after the elections in 2015, the signing of the Association will depend solely on his position and the political atmosphere in the country.
