On December 3-6, 2013, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych will make a state visit to China, head of the Presidential Administration Serhiy Lyovochkin stated, the press service of the President reports.

The visit of the Head of State will be made at the invitation of President of China Xi Jinping in order to fulfill the arrangements achieved at the highest level in the framework of the Nuclear Security Summit (March 26-27, 2012, Seoul, South Korea).

The agenda of the state visit provides for the negotiations between President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and President of China Xi Jinping in narrow and expanded formats as well as the meeting with the Board of Chinese Government and Parliament. Also, the President will visit Shaanxi in order to participate in the Ukrainian-Chinese business-forum.

The main attention in the course of the negotiations at the highest level will be paid to the practical implementation and prospects of development of Ukrainian-Chinese cooperation, particularly, in trade-economic, investment, financial-credit, energy, agricultural and scientific-technical spheres.

Following the meeting, the parties are going to sign a number of important documents aimed at the enhancement of Ukrainian-Chinese strategic partnership and the expansion of bilateral cooperation in political, energy, aircraft building, agricultural, humanitarian and other spheres.
