The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine broke the agreement between the state enterprise "Chernomorneftegaz" and the Russian oil and gas company "Lukoil" on joint exploration and production of oil and natural gas in the Black Sea, the press service of the government informs.
"To cancel the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine № 2361 dated 20 December 2010 "On conclusion of the agreement on joint activity" as not implemented," the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers № 886 dated 17 October 2013, released today, says.
The share of the public joint-stock company "Chernomorneftegaz" in joint ventures amounted to no less than 50 percent.
At the moment, "Chernomorneftegaz" is independently engaged in the exploration and production of hydrocarbons in Odesa and Bezimenne fields.
