The European Commission notes that Ukraine has made substantial progress in implementing the Action Plan for visa liberalization.
"Ukraine has made significant progress in all four blocks of the Action Plan for visa liberalization. Since the end of 2012, the adoption of many important laws to remove certain shortcomings has been accelerated," the European Commission report on the progress of Ukraine in implementing the Action Plan for visa liberalization, released on Friday, says.
European Commissioner for Home Affairs Cecilia Malmström noted that Ukraine is very close to the beginning of the second stage of implementation of the Action Plan for visa liberalization.
