In turn, "Eni" president Paolo Scaroni noted that his company demonstrates full activity in gas production from both traditional and non-traditional sources. Moreover, according to him, the company is working with "Naftogaz Ukrainy" on recovery of closed wells. "We contribute to the hydrocarbon production in your country, and I want to confirm our intentions to invest further in Ukraine."
CEO of "Électricité de France" Henri Proglio noted that his company has been working with the Ministry on development of its investment activity in Ukraine, and that Ukraine and "Électricité de France" have good prospects for cooperation in nuclear power industry.
"We intend to focus on this sector, as well as on the sector of energy distribution. We also confirm our readiness to develop cooperation in engineering work streams and to invest into Ukraine to create new jobs," he said.
After the meeting the minister of energy and coal industry of Ukraine Eduard Stavitski, Eni" president Paolo Scaroni and CEO of "Électricité de France" Henri Proglio also signed a Memorandum on understanding for cooperation in gas and energy industries.
