The Cabinet of Ministers has allowed the Kyiv City State Administration to declare a day off on Wednesday, November 6, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of its liberation from Nazi invaders, first deputy minister Vladyslav Zabarsky told journalists.

According to him, the Cabinet made such decision at the meeting on Wednesday.

Zabarsky stressed that it referred only to the Kyiv City State Administration and enterprises of communal property, but not to national governing institutions.

Zabarsky also said that the Cabinet has not yet addressed the issue on possible days off in 2014, including Christmas and New Year holidays.
