Within six months, Ukraine will join the new association - the Black Sea Grain Committee, agrarian policy and food minister of Ukraine Mykola Prysiazhniuk announced before the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, ForUm correspondent reports.

"The protocol provides for the possibility to create the Black Sea Grain Committee within the framework of the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations - Ed.), The UN resolution, the AMIS (Agricultural market information system - Ed.)," the minister said.

According to him, the creation of this committee will allow forecasting the domestic consumption of grain and making predictions for exports.

"Within six months, we have to examine the proposals for the system, form and purpose of this grain committee," Prysiazhniuk said, expressing the hope that next year Ukraine will chair the AMIS.
