The final decision regarding the signing of the Association Agreement with Ukraine will be taken on November 18, and the discussion on this issue will take place at the European Council meeting on October 21. This was announced on October 15, in Brussels by spokesperson of EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy, Vice - President of the European Commission Catherine Ashton Maya Kochyanchich.
"On Monday, the Council meeting will touch upon signing of the Association Agreement with Ukraine," she said.
She confirmed that the Ukrainian question, as well as discussion of the "Eastern Partnership" will be held within the framework of the European Council on Foreign Relations on October 21. "The Council will discuss the preparations for the summit in Vilnius, including the signing of the Association Agreement," she said.
