For ex-PM Yulia Tymoshenko it would be better to undergo treatment in Ukrainian hospitals, head of the State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine (GPtSU) Oleksandr Lisitskov told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to him, Ukraine has enough professionals, who can successfully treat various diseases.
Lisitskov stressed that the convicts are given free medical care.
He added that health condition of Tymoshenko is good and stable.
"It is impossible to send her abroad for treatment without appropriate legislative act," Lisitskov concluded.
