Economic reforms, which are being implemented in recent years, contribute to increasing investors’ interest in Ukraine. This was stated by the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych during a meeting with the women-Heroes of Ukraine, the President’s press service informs.
"If we did not conduct reforms, we would be unattractive, boring, and no one would invest in Ukraine," Yanukovych noted.
"They are not yet fully implemented, as corrupt officials hamper the process," the President said.
According to the President, the economic transformations in the country have been made possible thanks to the joint efforts of all branches of government. "It makes no sense to start reforms, if the executive, the legislative branches of the government and the President do not work as a chain," Yanukovych said.
The President noted that Ukrainian economy gradually comes out of the shadows.
President is sure that modernization of the economy will contribute to creation of the necessary conditions for doing business.
