The European Union will not allow Russia to introduce visas for Ukrainians, vice president of the European People's Party, MEP Jacek Saryusz-Wolski stated in interview with channel 5.
"The European Union will not allow applying visa regime before we cancel visas with Ukraine. What Russia applies actions to our partners in the East, then we will apply such actions to it. We have to protect the countries, with which we have associations. And Russia knows that it will suffer if continues sabotaging a free choice of independent countries," Saryusz-Wolski said.
According to him, the EU considers the Russian economic pressure on its neighbors as unacceptable.
