European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Stefan Füle said that the Association Agreement with Ukraine is not concluded at the expense of Russia. He said this during a roundtable in Kyiv, ForUm correspondent reports.

"The attempts of the Russian Federation to put pressure on Ukraine because of European integration will not prevail in the decision. The main is meeting all of the requirements on part of Ukraine. Agreement was not been drafted to infringe the interests of Russia," he said.

According to him, Russia would benefit from signing the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement and FTA.

"Russia will greatly benefit from the integration of the "Eastern Partnership" states in the European economy. The agreement must contribute a lot more to creation of the common economic space in the long term, as we say - from Lisbon to Vladivostok on the basis of WTO rules," Füle summed up.
