Expected signing of the Association Agreement with the European Union by Ukraine in Vilnius is a part of important structural reforms in the state, minister of economic development and trade of Ukraine Ihor Prasolov stated during a meeting with foreign media, the press service of the Economic Development Ministry reports.
"Ukraine considers the signing of the Agreement as a comprehensive program of reforms in our country and as an addition to the reforms, which are held today in Ukraine," he said.
At the same time, Prasolov said that a part of the Association Agreement concerning creating of a free trade area is very important for Ukraine.
According to the minister, to ensure effective preparation for the signing of the Agreement and further steps for its implementation Ukraine cooperates closely with representatives of the European Union.
