The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has passed with 243 votes in favor the amended law "On state support of families with children" regarding the reduction of the list of documents required for the application procedure on maternity allowance, ForUm's correspondent reports.
The amendments, proposed by the President, stipulate that registration of child's residence can be exercised on the authority of the data, provided by a legal representative of the child in his application for maternity allowance, addressed to the agency on social protection of the population.
Moreover, to simplify further registration procedure for the population, the social protection and labor department undertakes to request by itself all necessary data for allocation of maternity allowance from legal bodies, institutions and state registries at place of residence of a parent/ guardian or at place of birth of the child.
