The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to raise a loan to continue establishing the space rocket complex.
"The government has decided to raise credit resources to continue the work on the establishment of a new space launch system under the state guarantees. This project will contribute to the consolidation of Ukraine in the global space services market," Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said during the Cabinet’s meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to him, the total funding for the program is provided in the amount of 2.6 billion hryvnia.
"Targeted work of the government will allow increase production of rocket and space technology by at least 1.5 times, ensure the long-term workload of the industry, enter the new markets, create additional 10 thousand jobs in the coming years," the Premier said.
