President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych instructs the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Pshonka to give a legal assessment of the actions of individual fans during a football match between the national teams of Ukraine and San Marino on September 6 at the stadium "Arena Lviv", which drew the attention of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee.
The corresponding decree was published on the President’s official website.
According to the document, Pshonka should report till October 19.
Prime Minister Mykola Azarov is instructed to develop and submit proposals on bringing Ukrainian legislation on issues of public order and public safety during the preparation and conduct of large-scale sporting events in accordance with generally accepted international standards.
The chairmen of regional, Kyiv and Sevastopol city state administrations should ensure monitoring of compliance with public order during the preparation and conduct of large-scale sporting events, as well as ensure the safety of spectators and participants in sporting events.
