Police released journalist and social activist Tetyana Chornovil, detained during a rally near the Kyiv City Council, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to Chornovil, she was detained because of her attempt to enter the Council building.
She argues that he did not disturb the public peace, but the police officers dragged her into the van by force.
Oppositionist Oleksandr Pozhyvanov, who had been detained along with Chornovil, continues staying in one of the police vans.
