Today, of Ukraine plans to approve the draft concept of Ukraine’s chairmanship in the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2014, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said, opening the government’s meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.
"At today's meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers we will approve the draft concept of Ukraine’s chairmanship in the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2014, which will be submitted for the approval to the President of Ukraine," he said.
According to Azarov, since 2010 Ukraine has managed to achieve a lot in multilateral negotiations with the countries of the CIS.
"First of all, we signed the agreement on free trade area. Our task is to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation and to achieve the FTA functioning without restrictions," he said.
