The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine does not plan to interfere in the situation regarding the forthcoming match Ukraine-Poland in Kharkiv, Yevhen Perebeinos, head of the information policy department of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine, told a briefing, ForUm's correspondent reports.
"We observe but do not interfere, it is a matter of relations between the Football Federation of Ukraine and International Federation of Association Football," FM speaker said.
According to his information, FFU plans on appealing the FIFA decision.
As a reminder, FIFA's disciplinary committee took the decision last week after fans were accused of shouting monkey chants and performing Nazi salutes during a match against San Marino played in Lviv on September 6.
FIFA also banned the Lviv stadium from hosting all qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup. The FFU was fined $50,000.
