Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov considers that "3+1" formula of relations between Ukraine and countries of the Customs Union has started working, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said at a meeting of the government, ForUm correspondent reports.
"The members of the government of Ukraine took part in the first meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council at the level of heads of government. Thus, the formula of relations between Ukraine and the Customs Union, which was initiated by President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, has started working," he said.
Azarov reminded that Ukraine took part in the work of the Eurasian Economic Commission as an observer, and "this happened due to the agreements of the Presidents of our countries in May of this year."
"We continue to stand for the development of trade and economic relations with the Eurasian Union and the CU countries, and it remains a strategic and integral part of our policy," the Prime Minister stressed.
