The level of employment has increased in Ukraine, chairman of the State Employment Service of Ukraine Maryna Lazebna told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to her, during the first half of 2013 the number of working population at the age of 15-70 years increased by 89.3 thousand people compared with the same period of the previous year and amounted to 20.4 million people.
Thus, the official said that the level of employment increased from 59.6% in the first half of 2012 to 60.2% in the first half of 2013.
