Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov will pay an official visit to the Republic of Belarus on October 7-8. 

According to the press service of the Cabinet, Ukraine and Belarus will create an expert group that will assess the current state of trade and economic relations and prospects for their development after the introduction of a free trade area between Ukraine and the European Union.

The relevant agreement was reached during a meeting of Azarov with Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich in Astana.

"The Belarusian party shows a keen interest in the processes of European integration and the new conditions of the trade regime that will be introduced after the creation of a free trade area between Ukraine and the EU," reads the statement.
