The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine approved the proposal of President Viktor Yanukovych to send the Ukrainian peacekeepers to Congo.
As ForUm correspondent reports, 375 deputies voted for this draft law.
According to this document, the national contingent numbering up to 300 servicemen will participate in the United Nations Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The expenses related to the participation of Ukraine in this mission are planned to be financed by the state budget with further compensation by the United Nations.
