The Verkhovna Rada did not support Ukraine's accession to the Convention on Protection of Children and Cooperation in Respect of Intercountry Adoption, ForUm correspondent reports.

As the MPs did not support the ratification of the Convention, head of the Parliament Volodymyr Rybak offered to send the document to the Committee on Foreign Affairs to prepare for the rereading.

309 deputies voted for this initiative.

The draft law "On amendments to some legislative acts in connection with Ukraine's accession to the Convention on Protection of Children and Cooperation in Respect of Intercountry Adoption" was also sent to the committee for preparation for the rereading. 395 people's deputies supported this decision.
