The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine sent for revision to the relevant committee the law of Ukraine "On amendments to the Land Code of Ukraine concerning the acquisition of property right to land" with proposals of the President of Ukraine dated November 23, 2012.

As ForUm correspondent reports, 272 deputies supported the appropriate decision.

Head of the Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations Hryhoriy Kaletnyk explained that today MPs could not take this bill with the President's proposals, as during the period that had passed the law on amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine concerning the activities of the Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry, the Social Policy Ministry and other central bodies of executive power, the activity of which is directed and coordinated by the relevant ministries, came into force.

"The changes were made to the articles 35 and 81 of the Land Code of Ukraine, respectively, the rules that are already in force should be excluded from the draft law" On amendments to the Land Code of Ukraine concerning the acquisition of property right to land" with proposals of the President of Ukraine," Kaletnyk said.

He added that it is impossible today to pass this law taking into account the proposals of the President. "Therefore, guided by the Regulations, the Committee proposes the Parliament to send this law back for revision to the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Agrarian Policy," the head of the relevant committee noted.
