Visa Application Centre of the Republic of Poland plans to be opened in Zaporizhia, the press service of the regional administration informs.
"This will facilitate the paperwork for people wising to visit Poland, will facilitate communication between the businesses of the two countries," report says.
Deputy chairman of Zaporizhia Regional State Administration Petro Goncharuk noted that regional authorities are interested in expanding ties with Poland in different directions - economic, cultural, educational, especially in raising Polish investments in the region.
In turn, the Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Donetsk Jakub Volonsevicz said that Poland has a positive experience in terms of energy savings and this experience, in his opinion, should be of special interest to the regional authorities.
