14.1 billion cubic meters of natural gas, supplied by Russia, were already injected into Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities, energy and coal industry minister of Ukraine Eduard Stavytsky told a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers, ForUm correspondent reports.

"14.139 billion cubic meters of Russian gas were already injected into Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities. This information is as of this morning. We are working with our colleagues on the payment formula," Stavytsky said.

The minister drew attention to the fact that "Naftogaz" has faithfully fulfilled all the conditions of the agreement on payment.

"About 18 billion cubic meters of gas are planned (to be ordered - Ed.) by November 1. As for interest-free loans, talks are being conducted," the minister said, promising to inform the media about the outcome of the negotiations as soon as they are finished.
