The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine intends to pay financial compensation to relatives of four killed and one survived Ukrainian fishermen who suffered as a result of the collision with the Russian cost guard boat in the Sea of Azov, first vice Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov said during the hour of questions to the government, ForUm correspondent reports.
"In the near future decision will be made on compensations to relatives of people, who suffered," he said.
In turn, deputy foreign minister Viktor Maiko added that the Ministry is doing everything possible to return Ukrainian fisherman Oleksandr Fedorovych, who was detained in Russia, home.
"I hope that soon we will have a positive decision on the fate of our citizen," Maiko said.
